ABOUT:

Sipho Nxasana (he/him) is an award-winning writer, director, and cinematographer, currently based in Greensboro, North Carolina. From the age of 7 years old, he spent his days drawing comics, and acting in stage productions. As he grew older, however, he fell in love with the art of film, and has dedicated his life to the craft ever since. 

At the age of fifteen, Sipho founded the independent film collective "Cherry Street", using it as a foundation to crafting personal, and authentic, and unique film narratives with his close friends. Since then, he's written, directed, and self-produced over 10 short films, and has participated in film festivals all around the United States, and Canada.

Sipho currently attends the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, getting his BA in Media Studies, with a focus in filmmaking. 

He is open for any freelance, or production work.
